The Mediterranean

In 2007 we discovered Sea Dreams, a Benneteau Oceanias 50 in Gruissan in France. Thereafter we spent eight magical European summers in the Mediterranean and Adriatic where we produced three coffee table books, Sea Dreams in the Western Mediterranean, Sea Dreams in the Adriatic and Fifty Romantic Havens. This is a selection of some of the photos we took for those books.

Australia

We discovered a beautiful William Gardner 52 foot ketch, Oceania in Moolalaba and we sailed her home to Hobart and once more explored Tasmania’s wonderful sailing waters, as we had done on our previous yachts. We then sailed Oceania  back up the East Coast of Australia to the tip of far north Queensland. On Oceania we produced our first two coffee table books, From the Sea and Beyond the Shore. Our new book, Coasting, a Sailing and Dining Odyssey Along Australian Shores is a new edition of Beyond the Shore. We presently sail Water Music, our lovely 44 ft Catalina Morgan yacht. We have chosen here a small collection of our random photos around Tasmania and along the East Coast of Australia.

European Canals

In 2017 we set out to explore the Dutch, Belgium and French canals on our new boat, Linna, a 42 ft Boarn Cruiser built in the Netherlands. When COVID hit in 2020 we sadly had to sell Linna where we had left her in Strasbourg for the European winter. We hope to return one day to finish our book on the European Canals. Here is a small collection of our photos.
